Look at this photo taken during 1969' first Mission to the Moon... 

You can see the Moon, the Earth and Lunar Unit in landing orbit 

with Armstrong and Aldrin piloting... 

Right. 

So. Collins, the guy who took the photo, as standing operator had to remain in Apollo 1 while the little others went strolling the Moon is... 

imperatively... 

THE ONLY HUMAN BEING, DEAD OR ALIVE, NOT FRAMED-IN THE PHOTO!

Breathtaking eh? 

And actually the one who was further away from home too.
